Godot
Personal Godot Game (Incomplete)

A few of features that I implemented in a project were a day night cycle, movement, and a pivotable camera (to be able to view the character close up at eye level and zoom out to the environment) and some menu transitions so I could test out features.
I added a fake sun as a visual indication of time where also lighting can be applied to the front of the player with timed gradient ramp.

I started with an axolotl to create a the player with a simple body for animations and landed on a Voronoi normal layer to add some visual appeal in its stylization (leaning into the chunkier shapes in the topology). In the future if I approached this project again I would like to take advantage of the simple body shape to create clothing options and some head variants for customization as well as create a proper map.

Avery 'WhiteRice' Kotro and Thomas 'AngryCrab' Cox of RiceCrab Games are quite close friends of mine and I've had a lot of joy working on some of their currently unreleased projects.
